Striking a match can be the start of creating a special memory: lighting a campfire, starting a warm fireplace or setting a mood with your favorite scented candles. It all starts with a match. While every care has been made in the manufacture of these matches, we ask that you take care to strike the match away from you, and over a non-combustible surface to avoid any damage in the event the match stick breaks in use. These waterproof matches are guaranteed to light in wet conditions, they're great for camping, hiking, backpacking, emergencies, and survival bags. Keep an extra can in your car. Tins are made from reusable tin-plated steel and fit into your shirt pocket.
